The unit is an ISO 2001: 2015 certified unit and under Smt. Kalyani Patnaik as proprietress. During his tenure as chairman of SPINFED and cotton growers federation of the state, Mr. Patnaik felt the farmers owes and exploitation by the outside seed companies and tried to explore the seed production on his own as there was a very limited scope under the state government banner.
